A passion for telling stories
As a rising Gen Z author, I am driven by a passion to empower and connect with others, especially younger readers, to pass on the baton of inspiration to find and use their voices.
From humble beginnings
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been writing stories. I believe that we have stories to share – it’s beautiful and it doesn’t matter where you’re from or how your life turns out. You can be an “ordinary person” and still have so many things to show to other people.
Connecting with my Asian community and roots
Growing up in Chicago’s Chinatown, I’ve been a featured guest speaker, blogger, and tour guide for Read & Run Chicago, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, the Austin Public Libraries, Girl Scouts, podcasts, book fairs, Asian writer’s webinars, and other events.
